As with everything else since the pandemic changed our lives and the world, this will be an Independence Day like no other. In addition to celebrating the Fourth of July for our American independence, how about we celebrate our own independence day.
I believe we were all invited to do some deep self-exploration and inner work over the past few months. For me, the work has brought some surprising clarity and yes, independence and freedom. The work continues. Who am I? What am I? Why am I here? Why am I here NOW?? What needs healing? What needs light shed on it? Doing energy work with Reiki has given me insights on the nature of the Universe and the nature of me.
Jesuit Priest, Philosopher, Paleontologist Pierre Teilhard de Chardin said, “we are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience.” I am gaining my independence and freedom for from all the noise in the world, helping me find my own inner voice, to know my own value and beauty.
This Fourth of July as you celebrate the birth of our nation, I invite you to celebrate the re-birth of you. Remember the magnificent being that is you. Shine your light. Let it be what lights up the sky tonight.
